Extra pages and features are always quoted first.

  • Need more than one page?

No problem — I’ll quote it in writing before any work starts.

  • What about domain and hosting?

They’re paid separately. I’ll explain the options and costs before you commit, so you know your total.

  • How does payment work?

A $150 deposit gets you started; the remaining $150 is due once you’ve approved the finished site, before it goes live. Once it’s paid, the code is yours.

Affordable, not cheap

So what’s the catch?

There isn’t one. $300 buys one focused, carefully built page — here’s how I keep the price down without cutting corners.

What I never skimp on

  • Mobile-friendly layout
  • Fast loading
  • Accessibility basics
  • Honest advice
  1. One page, done well

Most local customers want the same few answers: what you do, where you work and how to reach you. One well-planned page covers that beautifully.

  2. No agency overheads

There’s no sales team or account manager to pay for. You’re paying for design and build — by the person you talk to.

  3. Static and speedy

Your page is built as a lightweight static site: quick to load, with fewer moving parts to update or go wrong.

  4. A clear, fixed scope

You know exactly what’s included before you pay a cent. Anything extra is quoted first — never sprung on you later.

What could your page look like?

How it works

From first message to live website.

Four simple steps, no jargon. You’ll always know what happens next and what I need from you.

  1. Tell me about your business

Fill in the short form — it takes about two minutes. I’ll read it myself and reply with any questions.

  2. Book in and send your bits

A $150 deposit gets you started. Then send your logo, photos, services and contact details — missing something? I’ll help you pull it together.

  3. I design, you review

I build your page and send a private preview link to check on your phone. You get 2 rounds of changes to get it just right.

  4. Approve, then go live

When you’re happy, you approve the finished site and pay the remaining $150. Then I connect your domain, test your enquiry form, set up Google Search Console and put it live.

Working with Website Lane

You’ll deal with me — not a sales team.

Kia ora, I’m Manpreet.

Website Lane is my one-person business. When you send an enquiry, I read it. When you have a question, I answer it. And when your website goes live, it’s because I built it.

Working with one person keeps things simple: no handovers, no account managers, no being passed between departments. Just straight answers, fair prices and a website you’re proud to send people to.

  • Plain English

No jargon. If I use a technical word, I’ll explain it.

  • Honest advice

If you don’t need something, I’ll tell you — even if it means a smaller job.

  • Prices upfront

You see the price before you commit. Extras are always quoted first.

  • Your domain, your name

I recommend your domain is registered to your business, so you stay in control.

Once you’re online

Help when you’re ready to grow.

Your website comes first. If you later want help keeping it current, showing up on Google or reaching more customers, I can do that too. Every extra is optional, and nothing is bundled in.

Questions

Questions, answered straight.

Have a different question? Ask me directly.

Is it really $300?

Yes. $300 covers one professionally designed web page with up to 5 sections and everything listed on the receipt above. It’s a one-off fee — a $150 deposit to start, then the rest — with no GST added because I’m not GST registered. Domain and hosting are paid separately, and anything beyond the starter scope, like extra pages or online booking, is quoted before any work starts.

What will domain and hosting cost?

It depends on the domain name and hosting option you choose. Before you commit, I’ll explain the options and costs in plain English, so you know your total cost upfront. Your domain should be registered in your own business’s name, so you always control it.

Domain and hosting explained

Will I own my website?

Yes. Once the agreed payments are made, you receive your website’s custom source code — subject to any third-party licences (for example fonts or stock images). I also recommend registering your domain in your own business’s name, so you always stay in control.

What if I need more than one page?

No problem. Tell me what you need and I’ll quote it in writing before any work starts. Plenty of businesses start with one page and add more later.

About website design

Can you help after my website is live?

Yes, if you want it. I can look after updates, help you show up on Google, or run ads and social media. It’s all optional — there are no compulsory add-ons.

About website maintenance

Do you only work with South Auckland businesses?

I focus on Papatoetoe, Manukau and South Auckland and work with businesses right across Greater Auckland. Projects anywhere in New Zealand can be done remotely by phone, email, WhatsApp and video call.
